Are you ready to be HGTV'd? Uh....YES, PLEASE!!!

Have you seen the new commercial on HGTV??

Well, having a room in my home done by HGTV is on my "things that will never happen but would be REALLY cool if they did" list. It's #2, right under sing like Carrie Underwood.

I am a HUGE HGTV fan (I know, who isn't). But I am the kind of fan that plans a trip JUST to visit the RePurpose store from the Cash and Cari show.

I have looked before, time and again, at the HGTV website seeing how I can be picked for an amazing makeover. I mean, who among us wouldn't LOVE to give over control of our homes to Candace Olsen!!

From what I gather, she likes to stay in Canada. Heartbreaking, I know.

 Since he's moved his show to Miami, I can't get him to return my calls. ;) I would LOVE for him to paint a picture for me. He is incredibly talented!

Ok, so I need to write a heart felt letter to Genevieve Gorder. I've watched her for years. She was the first one to wear gaucho pants. Trendsetter.

Antonio is AWESOME but he scares me....maybe a little over the top for my bland palette! But, then again, it may be exactly what I need.

There's House Crashers...but how long can I camp out at the big box home improvement centers?!?!

There's also Wasted Spaces and Design on a Dime. John Gidding and Clive Pearse. I even put pics up on Rate My Space. Where did that show go?? I could really go on and on.

If you look on the HGTV site and click on Be On The Show, there are plenty of opportunities. HGTV's BIGGEST FAN is getting a home makeover...if you live in the New York Tri State area.

I'm not an empty nester. I don't have an apartment. I am not getting married (I've already hit that jackpot). I don't have a basement. Come on!! How does an Oklahoma gal get a little home decor love!??

You can imagine how my ears perked up when I heard the HGTV'd commercial!!

In each episode of HGTV'd, an HGTV star will travel cross-country in an 18-wheeler, surprising fans with a jaw-dropping makeover. Are you ready? The HGTV'd truck could be pulling up in front of your house! Upload videos and photos of your space for a chance to have it transformed by HGTV experts.

SERIOUSLY, my prayers have been answered (well, partially). HGTV has decided "have talent, will travel"!!! 

So, they want to see my personality. Ok, which persona does I use?

How about my *please give this stressed out mama a new, relaxing place to unwind* personality?

Or maybe the kids will pull at their heartstrings with the *help my precious children to not be embarrassed by their home* gig.

How about *look at me! I must be handy since I am in a home improvement store holding a piece of lumber.*

Surely, this will get them!! *This is how I will react when it's time for the big reveal!!*

Ok, maybe not EXACTLY like that! We all look scared. HGTV doesn't do scary work! You get the idea though...

Maybe pictures of my living room will make them cry and rush right over. Beige, bland and blah will cause that kind of reaction.

Do you like how I caught the HGTV logo on my tv! ;)

Where's the color? Where's the fun? Was there a sale on green furniture?

Don't get me wrong. I *LOVE* my home to pieces! I just want it to be better than ok.

So, there you have it. My dream put out there for all to see....

One more thing, HGTV....maybe a place like Architectural Antiques and Dead Peoples Stuff will lure you to Oklahoma City. Look here and here.

That store and the fact that I have PLENTY of room on my street for your big 18 wheeler!!! BRING IT!!
