Frisco, Baby!!

Several years ago, we went on a road trip with some friends to Frisco, Texas. It was a favorite place of theirs for a quick get away and now has become one of our favorite places, too!

In Frisco, we know what we like and we stick with it! We hit our usual, favorite places every time but also find new places to add to our list.

Although I took pictures of mostly our shopping, I thought you might want to know some great places to eat!! Let's see, breakfast is always Corner Bakery. Lunch, usually Le Madeline (best tomato basil soup ever) and dinner is either Maggianos (spinach manicotti) or La Hacienda Ranch. Whichever one you didn't hit that night, is the stop for the next day's lunch before heading home. There is also Five Guys Burgers and Scotty P's Burgers if you are in that kind of mood. Now remember, this is all great food and shopping shown to us by our friends, so the Musick's get all the credit.

Onto the SHOPPING...

I honestly believe you could wander Anthropologie for hours and still not see everything.

I like this book's attitude!!

Knobs, knobs and more knobs!!

I *LOVE* baskets on walls!

My new thing right now is colorful plates and bowls. *LOVED* these! And I love cake plates and platters.

And, aprons! I *LOVE* vintage looking aprons!!

More baskets on the wall!

We did hit other places besides Anthropologie...

Anderson Furniture Store. Yep, a furniture store.

I really liked the pillow but not the price tag!! $138.00!!!

I did buy something at Anderson that makes me happy (I'll show you in a minute) but I am still kicking myself that I DIDN'T buy these gorgeous things!!!

We had a great time shopping and eating, eating and shopping. Here's what came home with me...

From Ikea. *LOVED* the white and the different textures. Not sure what they will be used for quite yet.

Green plate from Ikea.

From Anderson Furniture. *LOVE* the vintage feel!! Again, not sure what I will use it for but it makes me happy!

From Anthropologie. You've seen these in my last blog post.

Ikea. Baskets...for the wall! ;)

Le Madeline...have I mentioned it's the best tomato basil ever!!

Ikea. After almost 17 years of marriage, you need to replace some things.

Ikea. The trifecta...white, clean lines, organization!

And last but probably most favorite....Anthropologie Q&A A Day book!! This little inspirational beauty will get its own blog post soon!! :)

So, if you are looking for somewhere close enough to still have time to enjoy the weekend but far enough where you can't just run home to the kiddos, check out Frisco. You might see us there!
