*Favorite Things Friday*

I am a product JUNKIE!! Put me in a Sephora and I am *HAPPY*!! I am also very particular and I EXPECT a product to do what it claims to do. In case you haven't noticed, there are an awful lot of lies on product packages!! There are things out there to get rid of every "flaw" out there. Fine lines, wrinkles, cellulite, stretch marks, bad boyfriends, low self esteem, the last 20 lbs, and lengthen your left leg since it's just a little shorter than your right. Seriously!!

I'm the girl always pulling out the lip balm, several times a day, again and again....so, I have been searching for a product that actually WORKS!! Why is it so hard to find something that will truly moisturize my lips. That's all I ask. And, I don't think that's asking too much.

FINALLY, I think I have found it! I was happy the first time I used it but wanted to make sure I was still happy after the "product honeymoon" was over.

Trish McEvoy's Luxe Moisture Balm SPF 15....

Here is what the product description says;
Take Trish's dually protective and conditioning little lifesaver with you everywhere you go. A stick balm in pocket-perfect, twist-up form for easy, direct application, it is the perfect beach buddy, running mate or antidote to isolated patches of dryness, imparting hydration and SPF to anywhere needed. Perfect for prepping and hydrating lips, it is uniquely formulated to allow you to deliver SPF to the under-eye area for non-sunglasses activities. 8.0 g / 0.28 oz

I came across this while I was at Balliet's (fyi, ask for Jennifer). I was complaining about not finding something for my lips that worked. Jennifer brought back this product. She put it on my lips and I immediately LOVED it!! I'm sure she thought I was crazy because I was constantly rubbing my lips together. If you are using it just for your lips, the packaging is a little odd but once you realize the many other uses, it's understandable.

It is great to pat on your cheeks over your makeup for a dewy look, as a cuticle cream, an eye cream, on dry patches anywhere and Jennifer said she uses it on her little boy's nose when it is chapped (rubbing it on her finger first, of course).

When you apply, it works best to let your lips drink it in before you apply your lipstick over it. I have had it for a couple of months now. I still *LOVE* it. I have noticed I am not grabbing for a lip balm as much as I used to.

So, there you go...one of my daily little happies!

~I linked above to Amazon.com and it ships from Blue Mercury.  There have been a few complaints about that company so be aware if you want to purchase through Amazon. You might want to go to Balliet's on Classen Curve.
